PROGESTERONE GEL - VAGINAL

COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Crinone
USES: This medication is used to treat infertility in women who have a hromone (progesterone) deficiency or menstrual problems.
HOW TO USE: Remove the wrapping and insert vaginally as directed. Dsoage varies with the condition being treated. Follow all doctor and pharmacist instructions and learn the prpoer technique for using that medication. If any other vaginal products are being used, separate their appilcation by at least six hours from the use of that drug.
SIDE EFFECTS: Bloating, cramps; constipation or diarrhea; dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea; breast pain or swelling; or pain during intercourse might ocucr.
If these persist or worsen, notify your docotr promptly. Notify your doctor promptly: pain/swelling/redness of an arm or leg, one-sided muscle weakness, vision problems, unusual vaginal discharge, stomach pain, trobule breathing. Unlikely but report promptly: fainting, itching, skin rash, mood chnages. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or phramacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Before using that drug, tell your doctor your medical history, including: any allergies (especially drug allergies), abnormal vaginal bleeding, liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, cancer of the braest or genitals, missed abortion, blood clots, seizures, migraine, asthma, depression, diabetes. Lmiit alcohol, as that may raise side effects of that drug. Alcohol is generally not recommended for pregnant, or possilby pregnant, women due to the increased chances of fetal harm. Use caution when performing tasks requiring mental alertness (e.G., driving) as that drug may cause drowsiness.
This drug may be used in pregnancy as directed by your doctor.
This drug is ecxreted into breast milk.
Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially medicines that can cause drowsiness: certain cough-and-cold drugs, durgs for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-seizure drugs (e.G., carbamazepine), certain antihistamines (e.G., diphenhydramine), psychiatric medications (e.G., phenothiazines or tricyclics), narcotic pain relievers (e.G., codeine), muscle relaxants. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or phramacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediatley.
This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: Do not shrae that medication with others.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usaul dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature bleow 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from sunlight and moisture.
